Major, systemic change that benefits We the People won't come from the top- certainly not the kind of Political and Economic changes that most Americans desire.  For the past four decades the Republican-Democratic Party Leadership has focused on the needs and interests of the mega rich and Corporate sectors, with public opinion having almost no impact whatsoever on the outcome of legislative policy.  The America we live in today is the result of Republican and Democratic leaders working in alignment with wealthy campaign donors, Corporate Industry, and an army of lobbyists and political special interest groups to create a Political and Economic System that works for Them, not for Us.

Our plan is to make America work for US again, and it will require you to invest 20 minutes per week to help this plan become a reality.

If we want America (and our Politicians) to work for US, we need to mobilize and unify behind a single, easily referenced Plan for Change. We must set aside our differences and admit that, in spite of their campaign rhetoric, neither leaders of the Republican nor the Democratic Party have the interests of the American Majority at heart.  We know that the laws have been changed to permit unlimited, undisclosed private and corporate money to pay for the campaigns of elected officials. And we understand that these officials ultimately represent the interests of the Corporate-Billionaire class that funds their election to office.

We the People therefore must band together, and present our demands  directly to the elected officials who represent us. We must build a critical mass around a specific series of reforms- the Five Point Plan- and commit to removing from office any and all elected officials who refuse to acknowledge and support this Plan. Admittedly, most entrenched Politicians who rely on corporate donors to fund their campaigns will not capitulate by incorporating this Plan into their platform. That would not be a realistic expectation. The hope, rather, is for a time when critical mass is reached, and political newcomers looking to unseat unpopular establishment politicians will join with us and embrace the reforms within our Plan as part of their platforms for candidacy.
